Downy Wood Mint (Blephilia ciliata) is a perennial herb that grows to a height of 1-3 feet at maturity. It blooms in mid-summer to early fall with clusters of lavender-pink flowers that attract pollinators. Downy Wood Mint prefers partial shade to full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It is an excellent choice for butterfly gardens, naturalized areas, and as a ground cover in areas with moist soil.
